Description:

The movie chaptering is an unsupervised processing that segments a movie in chapters. The rules to obtain chapters have to respect the unity of time, place and action. The movie chaptering module can be embedded in a set up box and executed offline to segment a movie recorded by the user. Thus, browsing through chapters to reach the sequence that the user is looking for becomes easier to achieve.

Technical requirements:

Current version of module runs on QuadCore PC. It is a Linux and Windows application programmed in C++.

Conditions for access and use:

This module is only available to a subset of PVAA partners, on their request. Related IPL is propriety of Technicolor.
